I came up with the original idea for these in October 2007,
and shared them here on Hummadeedledee.
I call them my 'Sweet Sweater Pumpkins'!
[which is my copyrighted trade name for them]

Textures from soft chenille to nubbly rough cotton.
I also love that they are no-sew, and that I made them from the arms of old sweaters -
and then I used the sweater bodies to cover some pillows. ;0)

The pumpkins are so cute! I was planning to make a snowman out of old white sweaters for a Chistmas display. I don't know exactly how I'm going to do it but now after seeing your creations I have hope...

I think I might be able to do this! I hope no one in my area reads this post before I can get to the thrift store. I would hate for the sweaters to all be sold before I can get there!

Ok you had a direct impact on my day today.. I seen this and thought wow thats cool..later while shopping I seen a sweater and remembered you...then I got home and tinking around decorating for halloween and thought of you...before I knew it I had two little pumpkins made from the sweater and looking so cute..then I thought of you..I coudln't remember where I had seen the tutorial... Big sad face :( ..so I googled it. and found you...moral of the story..you had a direct input on my thinking and your tutorial was so good I remembered it step by step.
