This is a photo of our latest coup de grace, the Piano Bar made from an old baby grand piano. Bob's inspiration & muscle and my patience with sheet music and rolls of player piano music combined in a really remarkable piece. She was the hit of the Farm Chicks show, judging from the over 50 blog posts that she appeared in!
I've been using player piano music rolls for a year now, in collaged & decopauged products and also in displays (hanging them as window valances and wallpaper, etc.).

Yes, I did send Danny a link to our piano bar photos! She didn't sell, by the way. So to protect her finish until we begin renting her out as a party & display prop, she's taken up residence in my living room. With a DVD playing piano concertos tucked into her 'wine rack' area. Getting to enjoy a product that I worked so hard on? Music to my ears........

How neat to see your 'baby' grand come to fruition! Did it sell or is it not for sale and going to be used as your 'signature' prop? Out of all the wonderful treasures you two dream up I wish you could figure out a way to bottle your energy...Anyway, not sure if I read your need of seam binding on this site or your other but I have some that I'll gladly give you - I'll let you know when I unearth them! I love your new tiaras - so you! Most of all I love the love between you and your husband - in the grand scheme of this crazy world we're sharing that's truly what its all about!

Seriously, LAST comment:)...This is what happens when you don't read your favorite blogs for a couple of weeks/months...after I caught up on your fun filled life the next blog I opened I read this quote and it reminded me of you in such a way that I had to come back and share it - BTW - I also thought of you on Wednesday when I walked into the Anthropolgy store in Seattle.
