This is my FAVE shot of our booth display yesterday.
I am happy with how our space looked, even after a whirlwind four hour setup/load in starting at 6 AM. CRAZINESS. I caught snippets of conversation that echoed across the parking lot from other booths during the process, and it was quite funny: 'No not there THERE; No not that THAT; yes; no; I DON'T CARE; just DO IT; would you HURRY!; aaaaauuuuugggghhhh!!!; WHY are we doing this again?; I AM trying; I give UP; Over.. just a ....tich....THAT way; ' are just a few of the phrases that were repeated ad infinitum. Verbal skills get lost when concentrating on setup! And oh, it's even worse at tear down. No talking. Too tired.
There's a bit more on our Retreat blog, with more to come as soon as I get a grip. A 21 hour workday (up at 4 AM and falling into bed at 1 AM the next day) has taken its toll. Deb needs a day to laze in the sunshine (despite getting a sunburn yesterday) drink iced tea, and sleeeeeep. Tomorrow we'll unload some of the stuff from the trailer, to restock our poor empty room at Poppyseeds. But today? I got Nuthin'.
Come to think of it, that was ALSO one of the phrases I heard a few times yesterday morning!
PS:........ I'm having a bad day and am just really so very tired of a lot of things right now. I need to take some time out of all of this 'out in public' stuff for a while to rest and get some perspective. Back soon. Take care.....

Deb- I changed the link and how it reads on my blog. Thanks for letting me know and for allowing me permission to use your pics and tutorial link. I think many bloggers will have fun trying their hand at these! I found a few old white/off white sweaters last spring in anticipation to making a few of these- sure hope I get the time to do it!!
