I heard a "new" term of endearment yesterday. It's especially funny because it was said to a large burly man by his wife. She called him "cupcake" as she stroked her fingers through is hair. True love I guess~

My husband bless his heart....he passed away in 1992. He would call me "His hot little love furnace". He built & designed industrial machinery. Those machines were his babys, but I was the one that kept his fires burning.
We were together for 12 years & had 4 children.

Sweet! (I mean the giveaway is sweet!) But my term of endurment is "sweetie". Just love it. Oh, if not that word, I'll often mix "sunny" or "sonny" (boy or girl) in the mix! Always said with a big smile and the tone is set! Hugs, Heidi

I work with children with special needs and sometimes call the girls "Sweet Pea", one day a mom came to me and said her daughter had been calling her Sweet Pea in a sweet way. One day she asked her, "who calls you Sweet Pea?" the little girl told her, "Miss Karen"
So I guess Sweet Pea is one of my favorites... karen...

Just last night while watching a movie on the couch...
"Why don't you put your feet up, so I can rub them Peanut butter"

silly but sweet! :)

i'm a "hun", "hunny" girl! I think it's because i'm getting old, but i love calling everyone "hun". You know, rude people, bill collectors, mean looking people. It really catches everyone off guard and they turn NICE!!!
p.s your blog prizes are sah-weeeet!

This is not a term of endearment. But, I have always loved the saying "Nothin says Love like home grown tomatoes". I'm ready to start planting...bring on the sunshine.
800 posts...WOW.
