 15 sunday . mother nature's perfume

 the mesmerizing fragrance of jasmine blossoms, 

wafting in through open windows on a warm summer day

16 monday . loving my hair

[as close to my natural color as I have been in over 33 years]

17 tuesday . faith

a special friend gave me this reminder of a lifetime of our shared friendship, 

love, acceptance, forgiveness, and faith. i wear it every day and think of her. 

 18 thursday . memories

 seeing these photos of the loving faces of my Grandma and Grandpa Ward every morning.

today was Grandma's birthday. I miss hearing her calling me 'Debs'.

19 friday . family

 a perfect summer evening spent poolside, visiting with my parents and brother

20 saturday . comfort

soft worn wrinkled white Shabby Chic sheets (REAL ONES!) to fall into, 

and the scent of fresh linens

21 sunday . summer sunsets

 facing the end of the day, and the end of a lot of things that I thought would never end.
but there is ALWAYS a sunrise!

I painted a piece of art once that looked exactly like this photo.
I entered it in a contest for the poster for the Sand Point Music Festival in Lake Tahoe. 

didn't win, but got an honorable mention!
