Dreams DO Come True!

I GOT THE JOB!!!!!!

I've dreamed of working for the Walt Disney Company

since I was a little Debby - FIVE years old.

That's when I realized that PEOPLE helped make the Magic real at Disneyland.
By the time I was 13, I was creating retail displays in my mom's gift shop
at the Howard Johnson's Hotel across the street from Disneyland,

and walking through the stores on 'Main Street USA' to learn more

about how to design and style displays.

And though it never worked out that I could be a Disney Cast Member before,

this last two weeks have been a whirlwind of activity

getting me to today's phone call

where they offered me a position

and I said yes.

I am a Disney Cast Member!
I'll be working in the retail / merchandise division at the Disneyland Resort.

After all that has happened, after all the sorrow,
I never thought I would feel joy again.

The miracle is that my heart is filled with a joy that I can't begin to describe.
I spent Christmas with the people I love most

and now, my heart's dearest dream has come true...
I work for the Walt Disney Company!

I know, without a shadow of a doubt, 

that my grandpa and uncle who helped to build Disneyland,

and my grandma, and my best friend Lori
have all been pullin' for me from Heaven.
And so many friends and family members have been pullin' for me HERE.
Thank you for believing with me!
